Un asteroide sulla Terra? :\

Ieri girando su Internet sono venuto a sapere di una notizia sconvolgente; nello specifico, su Twitter, si parlava di un asteroide chiamato “TDN12” che dovrebbe cadere sulla terra il 15 giugno e dovrebbe avere il diametro di 42 metri.

Ovviamente la cosa mi ha lasciato un po’ perplesso ed ho iniziato a setacciare Internet per scoprire qualcosa a riguardo. Devo essere onesto, la ricerca si è rivelata più che infruttuosa, quando di colpo non mi sono imbattuto in una foto di un articolo del New York Times di domenica scorsa che ora pubblico

Che dice più o meno quello che avevo anticipato io.

Come se non bastasse, su Twitter qualcuno ha pubblicato addirittura la foto di una notizia data dall’ANSA ed alla quale evidentemente nessuno aveva dato effettivamente peso.

L’articolo riporta anch’esso più o meno le stesse informazioni che ho scritto sopra.

Non vi nascondo che la cosa mi lascia un po’ perplesso: perché chi avrebbe dovuto dare la notizia e soprattutto chi ci governa hanno taciuto? Spero almeno che sappiano come fare per garantire la nostra incolumità.

Qui non si tratta di teoria del complotto o cose del genere, quando notizie di portata così rilevante vengono tenute nascoste significa per forza che c’è qualcosa dietro. Mi vengono in mente i più disparati motivi, dal non voler semplicemente creare il panico avendo tutta la situazione sotto controllo al voler deliberatamente attentare alla vita umana sulla Terra.

Ho un po’ di paura, ma tutto sommato almeno per questa volta voglio essere fiducioso: e che cazzo, dobbiamo pure finire PRIMA della data di scadenza dataci dai Maya? Non che creda alla fine del mondo nel 2012 e quella cavolata del calendario Maya ovviamente, ma morire anche PRIMA del 21 dicembre non mi sembra proprio il caso.

Spero vivamente che il motivo per cui questa notizia tanto angosciante quanto grave sia stata tenuta nascosta è semplicemente perché, per il bene dell’Umanità (almeno una volta), chi sta al comando dei Governi abbia deciso di non diffondere il panico generale, avendo tutto sotto controllo e sapendo come e cosa fare per distruggere o almeno deviare la traiettoria dell’asteroide. È per questo che sono sereno, in fin dei conti: voglio crederci che almeno questa volta tutto andrà per il meglio.
